The Role

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a sharp, deeply connected Senior Journalist who truly lives and breathes the iGaming ecosystem. They aren’t just looking for someone who knows casinos; they need an insider who understands the broader industry, major operators, and the fast-moving news and drama cycle as it unfolds. In this role, you will produce sharp, well-researched content across multiple formats and collaborate closely with an in-house research team.

Our client is a fast-growing platform in the online gaming space. They aren't a casino; they are the transparent layer on top of the industry, reviewing, comparing, and analyzing operators with absolute objectivity. Because much of what they cover happens onchain, they don’t take operator metrics at face value, they verify them.

By auditing player reviews against actual on-platform activity rather than relying on arbitrary star ratings, their mission is simple: provide players with the honest, unfiltered picture the industry usually hides.

What You’ll Do

• Investigative & Analytical Writing: Produce breaking industry news, deep-dive long-form research, and insightful commentary on market trends.

• Investigate & Verify: Conduct independent research, source interviews, and leverage internal data to investigate on-chain operator claims.

• Editorial Initiative: Regularly pitch original investigative angles, investigative stories, and trend reports worth covering.

• Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with the research team to translate complex data and on-chain metrics into compelling narratives.

• Build and lead team of Writers

What We’re Looking For

• Proven journalism experience specifically within the iGaming, casino, or crypto-betting sectors.

• A track record of published long-form articles, investigative pieces, or high-profile industry news.

• Comfortable dealing with data, verifying operator claims, and understanding the basics of web3/on-chain transparency.

• Exceptional research skills and the ability to work autonomously.

• Open-minded thinker who brings fresh ideas, creative angles, and a strategic mindset to the table.

• Native or near-native English speaker
